Love Your City Award Gala
LifeCity is hosting the ninth edition of the Love Your City Award Gala on Thursday, January 28, 2021. This virtual music event will feature performances by local New Orleans artists including Iguanas, Blato Zlato, Margie Perez, YoungFellaz Brass Band, Ed Wise Trio and more. Ticket proceeds will go towards supporting local musicians, black-owned New Orleans restaurants and helping to feed local families in need.
“The Love Your City Awards is one of my favorite events every year. It is a big celebration of all the amazing work done in our community to make it safer, cleaner, more sustainable and equitable, and it inspires us all to do more together,” Marianne Cufonne, the Executive Director of Recirculating Farms said. This year’s theme is Rising Up Together. Get ready for an evening of honoring local community leaders, networking with professionals, celebrating social impact achievements and enjoying live music.

Every year, New Orleans hosts a new edition of the Love Your City Awards Gala. On this day, New Orleans’ business and impact leaders converge for a glamorous academy awards-like evening honoring winners, providing networking opportunities, and enjoying live entertainment. Over the last eight years, over 122 awards have been presented to businesses and organizations for environmental and social impact achievements and to empower change-makers to take on the next steps in their sustainability missions.
